Kaffa Roastery El Molino 29.12.2018 View this post on Instagram El Molino from @kaffaroastery. This is a medium dark roasted blend of "[w]ashed (dry fer.) Caturra & Colombia." The bag description promises—in my translation —"[b]rown sugar, very clean acidity. Pleasant tamarind and red berries." I don't know what "clean acidity" means, but the bag aroma is simply amazing. It's just what they say, and more: a sweet, sophisticated aroma of dark, stewed berries, figs and raisins, molasses and, if I'm not mistaken, even a hint of marzipan. You immediately think of Cumbia by Löfbergs. Mouth watering. In the cup, though, El Molino is not nearly as sweet or multifaceted as you would expect. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, but after the bag aroma, the overall taste is a little… meh. Yes, there is some sweetness in the finish, but for me, the familiar Kaffa acidity is the main player. Near the end of the cup, however, you sense a slight cigar-like quality, which, while a bit unexpected, is actually quite pleasant. All in all, this is a good blend, for sure, but somehow it leaves something to be desired, at least for me. #kaffaroastery #elmolino #bialettimoka #coffeereviews A post shared by Harri Huovinen (@harrihuovinen) on Oct 1, 2018 at 6:29am PDT Jaa:TwitterFacebookTykkää tästä:Tykkää Lataa...
